Is Orange Kid Really That Bad?

Hello, and welcome to my first article for EarthBound.Net. This is on a different subject: is Orange kid really the arrogant idiot we know and hate him as?

My first reason to believe he may have been okay works like this: Giygas can control animals and even humans, so he could have very easily done this to Orange Kid as well. That could have been very helpful to him, allowing him to throw you off by paying for inventions you'd never get (outside of the worthless Suporma.)

I've told this to some people I know, and they reply, "Why didn't do this to Apple Kid?" He didn't because anyone's logical choice would be the inventer that runs the neater, more famous operation. That, of course, would be the Orange Kid.

Another possible way, and this one's quite a stretch: what if at one time he was a great inventor, but Ness' dad did something to mess up one of his inventions, or stole one and received all the cash? (That would explain where Ness' dad got all the money.) That would cause The Orange Kid to be consumed with revenge for Ness' family, therefore ripping Ness off.
